How can the first screening be so bad.

The plot was nice. Syamsul created a Malay typical movie.

The scene was expected.

Of course the death for the bad guys. They die or went to jail. As expected he die when chasing to save a girl.

Like I said.

Have watched Sembilu before? No no. Not the resemblance. Maria Mariana. This is the New Age version or shall I say the son's version. Actually I just remembered Maria Mariana was Yusuf Haslam's. So the movie was NICE.

They got money to hire great actors and extra for the props. Also to pay the other extras for road legals etc.

So NICE movie and NICE job Syamsul.

68 Days - Chow Kit and Brave Kid

Since we watched Chow Kit first. Consist of 2 stories of different people but in the same community. It also shows 2 different problem. Problem with children of Chow Kit and the adult of Chow Kit.

Yup a lot of drama.

The movie style sort of like Cinta by Khabir Bakhtiar.

It was said to be a true story from the Chow Kit kids.

Actors all act to their scene only some of the children. Well children. They didn't carry their character strong enough.

I'm just glad there's no Fasha Sandha or Aaron Aziz in the movie. This movie will show how the actors do their part. Showing the character rather than the actor. But still they still have to have a face.

But disappointed that the issue they brought up is still under cover and they do not reveal all. What actually happen in Chow Kit. What do they actually do? Why they are like that? A lot of question.

And also there are some NGOs doing their part but we the public need to support but we need to know first what, where, who and why.

Just watched it just now.

The comedy is still Afdhlin Shauki's movie.
Afdhlin's style. It have a storyline.

This movie is like a "Maria Mercedes". Thailand speaking mouth and a Malay voice. Most of the voice in Afdhlin. So you get a girl, man and "pondan" voice of Afdhlin.

Its a good laugh.

Funny.

I don't know it sort of lack of something.

67 Days - KLIBF 2012

The line was crap at KLIBF.
Books found not at best discount.
But manage to buy more than 10 books. 4 non Fiction books. The rest are fictions.
Fictions may be full of dirts but that's the dirts in here.
Which is real. A bit cleaner than in the paper.
But not a fairy tale like in the TV.
Seriously.

A few FIXIs and books from their booth since I told them I would say I was disapointed with Jerat. OK fine a single black sheep doesn't effect the whole bunch of white sheep. New element with Ngeri. That's the point I would like to consider buying a new one. So I asked the PIC which new one are good. First they give me all the "we are publisher" CRAP. At the end of the sentence they recommends me Licik.
Still in plastic cover.
I bought Cekik first because of its gone to second print and its not in MPH or Popular. Read the few pages. I don't get it. But will continue reading it because the author gave me the "you are a tudung fella you should not read my book please return it to the shelve" look. and he's an author without a pen by his side. and he did not give me any note on the book I bought that he signed. and this is his sort of first FIXI and he had a second one i think.
Ha. I bought Kougar but not at KLIBF 2012 but at MPH a few months a go but always left it somewhere too far to reach so just finished it about 2 weeks ago.
Ok. Straightforward. Not an author I'm waiting for but still I bought Tabu. Which is still in plastic cover. But still curious on how did he receives anugerah Bakat Muda Selangor 2011. Not a good piece though. I think I have to reread Kougar later.
There's also Lejen Press which I choose their book carefully since they don't have Kitab Terfaktab 1. I won't go for 2 because I haven't seen number 1.
They are a bit particular with discount. Come on its THE book fair you have to give discount.

What so special with your T-shirt? So not a good ads. Seriously. Since I was disapointed with Senyum Kerang because of the "laugh at your own joke" stories. I bought Senyum Kerang because it has the best cover quality among the other Lejen Press books. And the booth helper recomend me to buy another Aisa Linglung. Ok. Let me finish Senyum Kerang first. Like hell. I'll quote a "laugh at your own joke line"

Novel ini pula konsepnya lebih berat berbanding Sengih Kerang. Namun keberatannya bukanlah seberat gajah, sampai kau tak mampu nak angkat. ("WTF?!!") I would say what the? Please write for PTS than write again with Lejen Press then you know what's writing is all about. or at least try to read Burgempark.
I googled sperma cinta. Now I know why the author write a 2.0 version because the first one was a hit. and that's why they gave the author a few good treats with a better quality cover.

Just please don't ask me to read Jusoh Turbo. It will make the author writes more "laugh at your own joke" book. I had enough of "Karipap-Karipap Cinta" from a well known publisher.

Since Faisal Tehrani is the talk of the town I bought 3 of his books. 2 from DBP and another from ITBM. Perempuan Nan Bercinta

Also bought 4 books from the Turkish booth. The books was expensive at Kinokuniya the gave a better bargain.

Ha. I met my favourite artist. Its the Mambo series. The best. Also met his cute wife. They took my oily tired face. manage to put on a smile. Hell. also add them on my FB. not Hell.

hope i finished reading them before the next Big Bad Wolf and KLIBF 2013.

Disapointed by Adnan's flow of stories.

Faizal have to fluent his Kelantanese. What? But over all it's great. not OK but great.

Bunohan. Watch it. A different side of Malay Movie. Not a Gol & Gincu sort of Malay-different-side-movie but real Malay Movie.

65 Days - Day is Hari in Malay and days is hari-hari in Malay.

63 days - I wore hijab

I actually hate the idea of horror. Watch this because my other half just love horror movie.
Horror movies have move bad than good values.
Over all rating for this movie 3 star not because of i hate horror movies just for the sake of..
let me think here's what the movie is all about.
We actually missed the first 10 minutes of the movie because the queue was long.
it shows a group of male hears some one cry or laugh then went out of the car and leave one of the group wife in the car. The wife saw women dance a malay traditional dance with the head cover with yellow cloth.
The women start to chant al-fatihah. Y Chanting. because she expect the ghost to go by praying al-fatihah?
Then something happen to the wife. Then screen shows back to the male group and they were running and when
the husband went back to the car the wife's not there.
Then screen shows family having dinner none of the previous actors were at the dinner table.
They were discussing about their daughter future with her boyfriend Pierre Andre as Rafael leading actor.
The dad don't like the idea of acting as a career and believe that it does not have any future.
He offered him job at his company since they r going to be family some where in the future.
Then comes the awkward laugh.
We'll see.
Then the scene with the girlfriend. She said that he's going to get audi A4 if he works with his dad.
Then scene where a group of people discussing their coming horror movie project with out a hero.
Then they decided to take a look at last year casting tapes and Rafael came to the picture.
Raf received a call offering the part and he went to office to dicuss further.
He told his girlfriend.
Then meeting again offering him RM50k. The directors told him to watch horror movies to feel the character.
Then he told his girlfriend that he's not afraid of ghost because he had not seen one.
Then the girlfriend said that there's an abandon police quarters that he could go.
The went but she did not dare to go in.
The next night he went n still nothing happen to him
Then he asked his girlfriend mom about how to feel afraid of ghost then she told him about hijab that covers human eyes so that they could not see ghost.
He wants his hijab to be open.
Then that night he receive text saying that she could help n come to this address after dawn.
He thought it was his girlfriend mom or something but it was from someone else.
He went there n meeting with a women claim that she was his family old friend n she got his hijab open.
He saw a few ghosts. and then asked permision to close back his hijab. He said that he's not done yet n asking the women to let him see more ghosts and the women warn him that only she has the key and only she could close the hijab back. then mysterious things happen to him when he went back home.
The car won't start. people see he was accompanied by women. Then he went back to the abandon police quarters and saw a few more ghost.
He was afraid like hell.
And finally he ran back home and still the ghost haunts him. He saw the ghost turn into his girlfriend.
And finally he gave up and submit back the script to the producer.
He went back to the women's house to his hijab to close.
Then there were a funeral at the women's house.
He was so scared. with his eyes nearly popped out.
Then the story ends there.

We actually didn't know who died the director made us assume that it was the women.

And all car plats are with J in front of them so I assume the scene was film in Johor.

It sorta cheap cause I was charged with 20 % discount but still I could have read it for free if I didn't damage the book.
