42 Day - Unauthorized Comment

I maybe not eligible to make comments one how people think or how people reaction towards certain things because I'm not that great thinker or great philosopher or what not. It's just occur to me that its getting more serious and just getting fed up with some issue that been brought up by some un authorise ppl. I know ppl might say who am I to comment and judge when I say who are they to judge. Though I haven't said anything yet. This include many issues of something compulsory to be done but ppl might not do it and ppl comment on some ppl that do it but not entirely DO that particular thing wholely. Yeah..yeah confusing statement... maybe some example might clear things up.

1. FRIDAY PRAYER
I know..I know..It's for guys only. There's a hadith or what not saying that if you miss 3 Friday prayer for no particular reason, they'll be murtad. So they went for the Friday prayer every fortnight. WHO ARE YOU TO BE PLAYING WITH GOD. You manipulate the god's order by manipulate the hadith. It's been said it's compulsory. except you have a very valid reason for it. Then some might say that you're a girl what do you know about Friday prayer. I've been to Friday prayer b4 in Mecca. It's not that bad at all. you just sit listen and pray. I may not be some ustazah to be lecturing ppl about fardhu 'ain. But this is the issue. then some might say at least i went for the friday prayer not like some people. On the other world there will be no one to back you up. There'll be no pointing finger of he didn't do it too. It'll be only you. the other people who are not doing the fardhu 'ain also gonna get it. I'm only human me too had done or still doing something sinful act but through time I'm trying to be somebody better each day. Start a day with a change to be better.

2.Hijab
I've read blog entries about this so many times includes by Melayu Minimalis and Sue Anna Joe. they had their own ways of expressing their opinion as much says by Melayu Minimalis, aku tak peduli means I don't care what you think. I don't care that much either. Of what ppl think of me. But can't ppl except it as its compulsory to where hijjab and not criticize whether they wear it out of fashion, whether they wear it properly or not, whether they wear it but not suit the attire and occasion, whether they have the attitude that suit the hijjab. Or for what other reason. IT'S COMPULSORY. End of it. Most of it because we don't want people to say what they think us. but then I heard the 'aku tak peduli' statement. Not what god says. We pray for god's not for other ppl. other ppl opinion doesn't really matter in god's eye. Some might say it's not really suit the attire to be wearing hijjab when you're pierce and what not. they think. ppl think. it depends on your reason or some might say 'niat' piercing might boost your confidence level. So go ahead then. But imagine piercing when you're going for tarawikh. Yes some might say not suitable. Because we're in the god's house. There's much more to it then god's house itself. Like I said don't care what ppl think just god's opinion. BUT in the god's house we're there because we want to pray not show off our piercings right. So no need the piercing stuff. We're in the god house we have to be modest. Even the telekung, baju melayu and sarong not advicable to be wearing the glitters and something that attract ppl to see. We should just be wearing plain white or somehting common so during prayers everyone could concentrate in their prayer. same goes to those ppl who went for umrah and haj. Think of what's the reasons of haj and umrah. Then also the girls wearing hijjab might not wearing it properly. with the neck showing, with the short sleeves and all sort of things. then ppl might say better that she don't where them at all. that's not just it. Yes they cover the aurat where they want to cover them and should be they cover all. Yes it's true. So let be it. it's just the same with ppl wearing hijjab with neck showing and short sleeves and pple wearing long sleeves with no hijjab. there's a sin in every aurat you show. It's not about wearing a hijjab or not it's whether you cover your aurat or not. Ppl blaming the hijjab for every issue saying wearing hijjab but not went for the five prayer. But ppl not wearing hijjab complete five prayer. It's not that wearing hijjab or not wearing hijjab determine your faith to god or determine your action in life or anything that touch the attitude. They got a sin for not doing their prayer but not for their aurat and the other got their sin for not covering their aurat but not for completing their prayer. Every thing that I've said above is like now everyone is kinda like playing with god's rule. Manipulate god's order.

In every aspect where attitude came it's have to be individual roleplay. Like the title, this is an unauthorised comment by some princess who listen, read and ask about religion from the authorise ppl. not some observer.

to Sue Anna Joe and Melayu Minimalis it's nothing personal. Me too have some opinion on some thing. Just sharing.

Ther'll be some addition to this entry but l8er.

"Just relax. We chill out." Then I chuckled.

35 Day - Experiment #1

A guy is call handsome when he have a strong and sharp jaw. I so-call have a fine structure that it made me look presentable. As expected there will be a but. The structure alone doesn't really make me look HOT. so applying some colour to my face, lip, cheek and eye. There I am. It made me look not HOT just that people want to look twice to. THAT what the lies in make up made u look. Isn't it typical.
I only make myself that FAKE for only 2 days. What happen?
Day 1. As expected. Colleagues was shocked. Asking Why? Do I have a date? ETC.
People that I deal with everyday that doesn't have any intention of asking even my name suddenly talk to me. And have a conversation.
Day 2. Same as day 1.
Day 3. Complete the opposite of day 1 and day 2.
This prove how judgy pple are.

31 Day - Belle De Jour

This picture is from News of the World

This post doesn't really relate to to Belle De Jour herself. But the girl who quoted this person recently in an interview.
It is controversial statement. Admitting your prostitution, its ok to do prostitution and even a career choice. Here's a full report of her confession and declaration, entitle, Being a hooker is summing I love this must be read by a conscious mind of a person and also you're 18 and above. I'm speechless actually when Iwatch her video. But that's her then.
The thing is, this was the girl that we fellow Malaysian proud of and she's not even Malaysian.

30 Day - Let's Mambo

I bought this book two years back. It said that it was a graphic novel. Is it another word for comic? I have no idea and careless. It cost RM19.00. But if you go to Kuala Lumpur International Book Fair from 4th to 13th April at PWTC you'll get almost 50% discount at RM10 per book.
Ok here it goes....
To be continue............

29 Day - A Small Talk with a Cartoonist

I'm very bad with small talk. What to talk about. I don't know you personally bro. I just say hi coz to me you're someone famous that I know and you remember. You do remember right? Whatever. Famous a big word ain't it. NVM let me use the famous.
They are a few things I should actually explain. Don't repeat what I said or wrote to you 2 years back. Come one two years back? It doesn't correlate with now. Totally different.
I'll read the book again and I review it k. A review from a reader that doesn't know anything about any literature. Bad at languages and even speech and also speak plus writing and handwriting. I have problem forming a full sentence sometime orally I mean. I jumbled up sentences, even proverbs also orally I mean. Not that I'm mad just the capital SHY.
You asked about do I think the book relate to your life? I don't even know you. How should I comment on that.
Have you heard of if a women have a tough life. She would be a successful writer. And probably her book is about her.
Ok its probably about you. Did you made a statement on that? A writer may make a statement that his or her masterpiece is about his or her life or based on his or her life. Any way if you remember, the front cover of the book even said that it was based on the writer's life. Based not your life k.
Then why Mambo? Hmm. I wonder why?
It was light and no telenovella. Previously the person in charge from the AL-AMEEN SERVE HOLDINGS SDN. BHD. why not buy from Aie. Aie's works are basically typically him. So I was into his works when I was in secondary school. Teenage stuff. Not that his works is about teenage its just that too melodramatic I guess. But I'll give it a try later I think. Just for the sake of comparing.
Then another small talk about where I'm from.
I'm a shy person to actually have this conversation. LOL. Yes I'm a shy person.
Overall the cartoonist was ok. He said that he's shy. I just take it as it is. I don't really care much. Remember the phrase from Italian Job, Stella quoted "I trust everyone. It's the devil inside them I don't trust." I think that quote doesnt suit me at all. LOL.
To me I accept everyone as it is. I try not to judge. If something else new about this person I knew I just add to the list. I think I repeat this sh*t so many time. LOL
I only wants his autograph for his works then as an extra bonus, I even receive a free caricature from him for being a very supportive fan. Yeay... LOL.
This my book getting ready to get autograph.

First stop.
This is what it said up there, Mini Konvesyen by PEKOMIK. Then I saw this picture. Eh I know this guy. I've been buying his stuff for the last 2 years. Hey what stuff ha? His so call comic book. Its just nice. His writing has no melodrama.
This is some other part of the convension.
They also make some record about drawing the longest comic.
Then I met Nur Azmi and some other cartoonist.
This is NurAzmi. And both of them below I have no idea but the guy with black shirt's name is Nuri.
This one below I have no idea.
After that went to shop for books. Not really shop coz I ain't got the cash.
This is the so call crowd at the first hall.
This is my uncle and aunty looking at some overated stusff in learning how to read, write and count.
This is the overated stuff they're looking at. I delete the brand and stuff. You know for what.
What do I think of it? It's OK. But actually can't wait to go to KL Alternative Book Fair in May.

26 Day - Child Prodigy into Prostitution

OK, definition first. form here it says that is a child who masters one or more skills or arts at an early age. One generally accepted heuristic for identifying prodigies is: a prodigy is a child, typically younger than 13 years old, who is performing at the level of a highly trained adult in a very demanding field of endeavor. That it took from here, Feldman, David H: "Child Prodigies: A Distinctive Form of Giftedness", National Association for Gifted Children, Gifted Children Quarterly., 1993, 37(4): 188-193.
And from here, it says it's a noun, and it means a prodigy whose talents are recognized at an early age.
There are a lot of child prodigies in the world and here's the list. Another is the fictional child prodigies. Add to the list from Wikipedia is Jimmy Neutron. LOL. The Malay version of it a hysterical then ever.
In this post I want to just brief about the daughter of a Malaysian (mom) and a Pakistanis (dad) Sufiah Yusof. Actually not really brief just some so call facts that I gather from the news and also what I think of it. Just the practical view of it.

Ran Away

She ran away from St Hilda’s College in 2000, the day after her third year exams, sparking newspaper headlines, a nationwide hunt and emotional appeals from her family.
She was in hiding in Bournemouth, working in a hotel. She was posing as a student among the 30,000 foreigners who go to the seaside resort each year to study English. When she was found by police in an internet café she refused to return to her parents and was taken into care by a foster family.
When she ran away she sent an email accusing her father of making her life "a living hell" and of putting her through "15 years of physical and emotional abuse". She send an ultimatum to ask her dad to tell the press that she was save and she’s in Scotland or London with her relatives. He as expected of course denied the accusation. He even said that her daughter had run away with some nasty socialists and boyfriends.
Amazingly, she actually passed her exam that she took before she ran away.
Here are the reports of her disappearance.
Her parent lives in Westwood Heath, Coventry near Warwick University, where Sufiah's brother, Iskander, 14, and sister, Noraisha, 27, study who are in their second year. Their youngest daughter, Zuleila, 6, is preparing to sit her A-level math. A family of genius indeed.
If you read all the reports, you’ll read that her father didn’t say that his children as genius or gifted but they became like that through a proper training that the parents conduct and he’s going to make a book out of it.

Her siblings

A teenage brother and sister who were the youngest siblings ever to go to university have graduated with math degrees.
Iskander Yusof, 15, and his sister Noraisha, 19, have been given their degrees by Warwick University.
Her dad didn’t want to comment on his daughter Sufiah Yusof’s issue.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/education/2122284.stm

Married

Sufiah Yusof, 19, marries Jonathan Marshall, 24, a trainee lawyer from Keble College. The pair met at a Law Society function more than a year ago, after Sufiah returned to Oxford in October 2002 to complete her final year but she failed to complete the course and did not get a degree.

Her dad sexual assault

Her father was arrested after touching a girl on the chest and attempting to kiss her as her parents watched television in a nearby room.
The victim's father said: "This man came across as intelligent, smooth-talking, charming. He said my daughter was very bright and that he would be able to further develop her skills.
"He even told us that his daughter went to Oxford - but he didn't tell us the rest of her story.
"He took a strong interest in our daughter. Now I realise it was for all the wrong reasons and he was just trying to groom her."

Prostitution

She advertise her service online. She advertise herself as Shilpa Lee, and she serves £130-an-hour service. The undercover reporter went to her apartment in Salford, Manchester to uncover her activities. She’s currently doing her masters in economics as part-time 2 years course in London.
There are a lot of versions of the reports. The Singapore’s Strait Times said that she’s a Malaysian prodigy but actually it’s not. Other’s said that her parents are Malaysian but it’s only her mother.

Malaysia has made a lot of fuss about saving her. Need to be reminded. She’s not even Malaysian. Did her mom pay the tax? I doubt it. And there’s a 'Save Sufiah Programme'. What? There are a lot more prostitute in Malaysia that have to sell their body in order to pay their tuition fees OK. Why not search and help them instead of helping this non-Malaysian girl. And there’s also some commented on the issue saying that ‘Come back to Malaysia and you’ll have many friends here.’ What come back? She’s not even Malaysian ok. Don’t waste the tax payer money on something controversial like this. Malaysia has been a welfare country helping those in need. I don’t mind Malaysia helping those countries at wars. But helping one single individual that is not even Malaysian is really waste of money. There are still other people who needs them in Malaysia.
This may come through that as a Muslim we have to help other Muslims that’s not on the right track to go back on track. But there are other way of helping this person. She’s an adult. She should have know what’s wrong and right. Malaysia should not be a busy body and try to help directly this non-Malaysian girl.
It’s like who ever wants to get free education in the Britain from Malaysia, just make some controversial thing like Sufiah Yusof and the government will help you through your study. Is that it?
And some reports even include some statement to the bloggers about the ‘Fitna’ short film.
From Bernama.
On another development, Zahid urged Muslim bloggers to help counter the attack against Islam by Dutch legislator Geert Wilders through his short film "Fitna" which was posted on the Internet.
"This is the time for the bloggers to do something useful and not just use their blogs to condemn the government," he said.
I’d say whatever.
In every issue they still have something to condemn about the blogger.
p/s- I’m boycotting the Dutch products but the mainstream TV still shows their ads but they told the people to boycott the products. Hypocrites much. Yeah2. They already paid and contract and all. Didn’t you have anything that couldn’t be bent? A contract is just a piece of paper right?

24 Day - Pak Ungku

Professor Diraja Tun Dr. Ungku Abdul Aziz bin Ungku Abdul Hamid

This is the full name includes with the title. I got this thanks to this so call unreliable Wikipedia.
I listen to his so call talk at Radio24. The talk open a new perception in a few things currently in Malaysia. The talk mainly focus on the economy in Malaysia. Here's a few things that I heard in my own words of course. Its not according to the sequence of the talk.

Discipline In The Society

Malaysian being said to be lack of discipline. The easiest example given was to look at the primary school children. We compare school children age 7 to 9 in Malaysia and school children at the same age range in the west. We only compare the handwriting. We pick out 10 children from Malaysia and 10 children from the west. If you can see the handwriting of children from Malaysia and from the west, there are 10 different style of handwriting given by the children from Malaysia and 10 almost the same style of handwriting by the children from the west. This show the indiscipline of school children in Malaysia.
Also being said that the primary school teachers did not focus on the students handwriting. The teachers actually did not target the students to write uniformly but to only focus on the getting the students know how to write and read. The only uniform handwriting that could be found is in their 3 lines notebook. But in other notebook and exercise book you could see different style of handwriting given by the children. People would say that they are still in practice to write. This scenario also the same with the older age range in the primary school.

Iskandar Development Region (IDR)

The report of the IDR had been read by Pak Ungku and he said that it was great and impressive. The report was the theory of IDR. It said that it open 50,000 job opportunity and all the good things that it will bring to the state and country. What it lack of is that the practical of it. How are they going to run the IDR until it provide the 50,000 job opportunity. In the report doesn't say where the 50, 000 job opportunity going to be.
He also said that Johor has been in good luck. Since he's a johorian he maybe one-sided. Throughout the history, Johor was not influence by the colonialism. That was in the past but now to ensure the harmonies of Johor it must not involve themselves with the corruptions and keep its integrity.
In the previous 12th General Election, the government promote the concept of IDR. Being asked about the state of Selangor was now in the hand of the opposition party how is it effecting its economy. The economy may grow as usual because of the infrastructure is complete.
Pak Ungku also suggest that the government should make a corridor or something like a highway in the Sabah and Sarawak to develop both of the state more efficiently. The government should concentrate on Sabah and Sarawak development.

Terminology Usage

The change of the term "rasuah" to "integriti". The term integrity may sound better but the effectiveness of the word itself may be less. This is because of the term "integriti" will be widen the usage of perspective of it which include in the doing each person duty, giving out task, sincerity, etc. With the change of the term some people may thing that the government is now not focus on the corruption. The term "rasuah" is more effective because its direct, and easy to understand. Everyone will be clear on the mission is to eliminate corruption. The term integrity may weakens the mind because the term is not strong enough.

My personal criticize on this is why the sudden change of the term? They like to change the term when something BIG happen to the country. Remember when the police change the "Cepat dan Betul" to "Mesra, Cepat dan Betul". What had happen before they change it? See what I mean.

Since Pak Ungku used to study in Japan. He also said that even though the culture in Japan does not do all this corruption crap, the people in Japan are the same in every where else in the world even compare with Indonesia, US, Malaysia, in the Japan, corruption still there. They're no difference.

Foreign Direct Investment (FDI)

To begin with Kelantan that has not been develop rapidly like other state. We cannot judge Kelantan now after the GE. We have to give them time 5-6 month or a year because we don't know the politics format and the real power distribution also the policy that they're fighting for.
The polar of the FDI may change, its hard to predict. We compare Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia. In Singapore, they are offering high technology. In Indonesia, they are offering land which that its price are low. In Malaysia, it should be offering service like opportunity. The people should be motivated and also must learn not only English and Malay but also another foreign language. For example in India, the call service there are very efficient.
In Malaysia another thing that they are lack of is the maintenance attitude. Giving example of the fall apart of the ceiling in most government office. Most company in Malaysia did not give the after-sales service to maintain the product. What they expect is that after they sell or buy it, when it's broken just buy a new one.
To compare with the neighbouring country, exclude the Brunei because the economy is unusual because they depend on the oil only. Giving an example of Vietnam which have a very high discipline because of the communism in their people.
Criticising on the OIC, its just bunch of world leaders giving talk this and that, sign a resolution or something like that but back to the country didn't even do what was finally agreed on. Say there're 4 Middle East leaders gather, even though all four of them are Arabians the have 5 difference thought about everything. They are not unite. Even in the OIC influence is not working for them. Even in the Arab States of the Gulf they are pro-US. They didn't even put their wealth in their own local bank but they ask the Jews to take care of their wealth. How's that.

I think that's about it the talk. It's actually not complete. The talk was for 2 hours and I only manage to listen to them in the last hour.

21 Day - Save and Easy to Calculate

Heard the tag above before? Just direct translate it to malay.

It's shown every hour or probably half an hour.

What is save? Before I look it up in the dictionary.com i'll give a piece of my mind first. In the area of money is concern is that, save brought a meaning of one party gain more than what they use to get. ok now here's from dictionary.com.....

its obviously gave the same meaning. Who are they trying to fool. yeah its either we gain 1 or 2 cents or we lose one or two cents. But still it doesnt call save. But the tag says we save.
Please change the tag that actually meant the same as it shows.

Easy to calculate?
You're using sempua is it? or you calculate in your head? You're using calculator right? or that thingy called register machine thingy. RIGHT? Or is it easy to calculate for the consumer? if easy to calculate to consumer the price should be no cents at all. Please make a better tagline.

What happen if we make transaction online?
So many flaws...

p/s- me like to complain. LOL

19 Day - Singing or Lipsynching

Is it a trend now posting about your so-called singing with a guitar. It's the IT thing eh?
And posting your so-called lipsynching. It's great isn't it? Wishing that you got viewed so many time in the youtube. Get a life.

Tha paragraph above should get a big bolded DUH.. that's the largest letter that blogspot alowed. LOL
Hey its your account you can do anything with it k. Like whatever. Cool or not. Horible or not it's your account. Your page. Go ahead and manipulate it. Take charge of it. Do whatever with it. Yeah, yeah, yeah, whatever.

Why people actually hate whatever.
I like to say whatever rather than ok. to me OK just end there. Whatever makes people don't care or most of the time they'll get frustrated of being not important. OK makes them feel important.Whatever make them feel not important and some just don't care. There are only some who just take whatever just whatever. Most common or rather typically people hate whatever. In this world we deal with typical. Wide market that actually sells. Not the nitch that have high price and overated stuff. I treat most people as typical. If you're not typical I accept it and move on.

K...reason this blog is posted because just want to realese my sort of, kind of tension while blog hopping, blog reading and website searching where I came across a singing website. It collide with the one I'm listening to. This is an exception for the site that actually are for listening youtube.com alike for example.

K that's all.

18 Day - Fashion Statement

Hav you seen this blog? It's called I Got Shot In The City. Shows people all ages telling people something in what they are wearing. Or something like that. Here's other sites from the I Got Shot From The City VOX.com, VIRB.com, and FLICKR.com. Came across this site from article from this past few months of KLue issue. Forgotten which month of KLue issue.
It's somewhat true what this fella said about fashion in Subang, PJ, Shah Alam, n Damansara. If the comeback was like that,

Aku - "Waah. This place is nice. But it's filled with 'Subang' people."
Rakan - "Eeeeeh! All this people from PJ ok?"

It really shows that this "Rakan" is from Subang. Subang has this sort of habit want to let everyone knows they're from Subang. hav no idea y. And I cared less. Fashion in Damansara. You go to One Utama and you know what I mean. Basically everybody's have the same statement that they want to tell people. In terms of uptodate. Like I care. I only come to Damansara to ogle, to Oohs and Aahs at the GREAT set of wheels all those sort of posh people want to show off their weekend car. Lepak at TTDI famous expensive for nothing Rasta. But still going there. Damansara, the road seem to be congested but not that congested. Sunway when it's congested, it's a capital C, congested.
How I get to see this so call people fashion statement, where else shopping malls or complexes or centres. They gives the same meaning.

1) One Utama. Quite posh sort of mall. It's open for all actually. They have branded stuff like forever 21, Guess, (I'm very BAD with this all sort of branded thingy.) y'know all those expensive stuff. and also affordable sort of normal price stuff (definition of normal price is for shoe to cost less then 50, short sleeve tshirt to cost less than 30, long sleeve tshirt to cost less than 40, blouse to cost less than 60, magazine to cost less than 15, and parking that cost less 5 in 6 hours during weekdays and less 10 during weekend plus for ice cream, sort of malaysian made Nestle not some overrated baskin robin). Normal price stuff from FOS, Jusco, some of Padini stuff, Vinnci, Radioactive.

2) The Curve. It meant for the people who live in TTDI, Bandar Utama and Damansara. Do I need to say anything else? It's been said.

3) Ikano Power Center. Why is it even there? I think it's for those who're from IKEA so lazy to just cross the road to go to The Curve.

4) Cineleisure. Most of the shoplets have normal price except for the most food.

5) Tesco and IKEA. It opens until late. Like other tesco. Why I hate Tesco in Kajang rather than Tesco elsewhere? When it's open. they hav this trolley for kids. small trolley. So if the family have 5 kids all 5 of them wants one. Imagine how hectic it is. And in Kajang they have a few kampungs. When there's kampung there's old people. When the family wants to go for groceries shopping they bring the whole family to the Tesco includes the grandma in the wheelchair. It make things merrier. After a few years the Tesco in Kajang had been open. The management had take back all the small trolley for kids. so no small trolleys. Good. But bringing the whole kampung to buy a few groceries habit still there. Am I being selfish or whatsoever. Ohhh..Whatever.

6) Sunway Pyramid. I used to love shopping for shoes there. But now most like this fella said about cheap things sold at expensive price. Some of us went there for the skating ring or, the bowling or archery(is it still there?) The only normal price that I could find there was in Vinnci, TSC, Cheetah, Radioactive and C Union plus the shops on the same floor as the skating ring. Movie, not all of them came there to watch movie so the line's not that long unless there's a boxoffice thingy like spiderman or harry potter.

7) Subang Parade. Family mall. Not much I think. There's Parkson with a mix of notso normal and normal price of stuff. Not much of a designer stuff some cloths that you can find pretty much everywhere.

8) Carrefour. Some said K4 some Car-foor and some eve sain curry4. How ever ppl pronounced it it still include with the letter c, f and r. They manage to open the 2nd floor for exit counters. Everything else is OK. I love the record store there. I've forgotten the name. It sort of oldshool kindof.

9) Summit USJ. Sort of like SACC Mall in Shah Alam. Go there for their pirated stuff. Clothes for those who wants to wear it. Some called it for those who like to dress as "Cina Jinjang" What's that suppose to mean. Hav no idea. They hav GSC.

10) Amcorp Mall. Only go there for their pirated stuff too. And Flee market. the Smile cinema got rats and cockroaches.

11) Midvalley Megamall. Used to be called the biggest shooping mall in South East Asia. I think. Best Shopping Complex Award 2000 by Mlysian Tourism. Pretty much everything is there. Even Cititel Hotel is cheap.

12) The Garden. Hav no idea. Being compared to Pavillion.

13) Bangsar Shopping Center. It's poshier than Subang Parade I think.

14) Bangsar Village. Posh family shopping complex. Overated store. Sort of a Mat Salleh's family shopping complex. Parking was wayyyyy too expensive. (ONLY PERSONAL VIEW)

15) Suria KLCC. Too crowded to even comment on the place or even people.

16) Pavillion. Hav no idea. Being compared to Garden.

17) Sungai Wang Plaza. Too crowded. It seem that the level of the floor are too low.

18) BB Plaza. Same as Sungai Wang Plaza i guess.

19) Time Square. Bigger version of Sungai Wang Plaza includes with the posh shops, Cinema, food that's not so normal and only MCD seemed normal and theme park.

20) Pertama Complex. Malay version of Sungai Wang Plaza.

21) Sogo. Just another departmental store.

20) Maju Junction. Never been there. I think its like a Malay version of KLCC minus the crowd.

I think that's it. There are probably some more that I did mention but whatever...

17 Day - Don't Know What What

If you can actually translate that. LOL

Some people would just do anything to prove a point that's not worth proving. But sometime its worth it somehow or sort of psychologically.

1. Bulimia nervosa. Taste as much food as you like and then puke it all out. Some may not puke it all out, they actually force all the food out in other word purging, such as fasting, the use of enemas, diuretics or other medications, or overexercising. [1]
I got this info from Wikipedia. My lecturer said that Wikipedia is unreliable source. But wtf. Move on. In the Cleo March 2008 issue there's an article on loose weight when you're sick. This mostly happen during Hari Raya or when there's kenduri kahwin. Constant diarrhoea. The worst diarrhoea I had was last few weeks. I had no idea what cause it. Doctor said that it was from gastric I had. In order the body wants to heal itself, your body will experience constant vomiting or diarrhoea or both. I had diarrhoea for a week. I thought it was normal until it bleed. Urghh... Almost a month now. Still in the process of healing. Now I don't have the urge to eat but I have to eat. So I eat according to time and sometime I forgotten cause I don't feel the hunger. Some may think its great to me its frustrating.

2. Vomiting. I had a friend who puke every single thing that he ate just because that this other friend won't accept this friend to pay for his part of food that he ate. Got what I meant.

16 Day - Courteney Cox:Dirt

Watch it yet?
I found that it's very "susah" to "cari" and "muaturun" this particular series. The series are very exciting. they even post it for free the pilot of the series online. The part where it is very "susah" to "cari" and "muaturun" makes me even want to watch it. Maybe when it already came with a DVD box later in the market.

15 Day - Torn Apart

It's been delayed..and I had completely forgotten.
As the Fifi the flowertop said, "Oops, I forgotten!"

Thursday 21 February 2008

14 day - Friends with Benefits

Type of Friends I've been, seem, heard of,

1) Friends that gives you this sort of confidence when you're with them. There's this type of person that make his or her friend as his source to boost his confidence. Being with this friend makes this person more confident in talking, walking, etc. Without this particular friend this person sort of lose his "chi" or what Austin Power said his "mojo".

2) Friends for leisure. To be save they're called hangout friends. You used each other for each other own benefit. None of them lose. If one of them lose or win it doesn't affect the relationship or even power they have since they hold the same power over each other.

3) Friends to show your power. The more the better. This probably happen in the school where students walk in a crowd and follow their leader go. Or probably you'll see most of this situation in a chick flick. the cheerleader is the famous ones..yada...yada...yada...

4) Friends who has a shoulder to cry on. They'll probably say "I understand your situation." Which actually makes things worst because this friend didn't understand the situation.

5) Friends who backstab. This is hard to detect. You'll only know them when they had done the back stabbing thingy. Just be cautious most of the time, selfish sometime, don't bother or be bother in one of the time.

6) Friends you can tell every single thing about your life. BUT don't be fool because this person might tell other people that they think doesn't you don't know each other. Furthermore, you might think that they didn't judge but face it everyone judge in their own way of judging.

7) Friends from school. They usually let you copy or you let them copy homeworks, assignments, lab reports,..etc..They might be your best friends if they live nearby your house or have the latest game in-store or have huge barbie collection. And after 10 or 15 years you'll have sort of reunion or alumni to see who have the poshest car, most handsome hubby or richest BF or vice versa.

8) Friends from work. Differ from the school one because you dont hav reunion or alumni but will be black list if u resign. Usually they'll say that they haven't finish their report but actually they did so that they'll be the first to submit to the superior. Complain this and that person. Comparing wages. Comparing OTs. Became friends if their children are friends with each other. Suddenly could get along during family day or company trip or when bonus slip arrive. Do you call this people friends. Now I know why they hav to change it to colleague.

9) Friends from the NET. You can actually tell them everything without even care if they tell others. You can basically lie to them bcoz they don't even care. Some naive may trust friends from the net, and tell everything to them and believe every single thing the other party said. Most untrustworthy NET friends would want to meet up after a month or even after one conversation of so call chatting. But sometime this so call friend does work out. I've known a few that ended up in marriage and still going strong.

10) Friends from chatting on the TV. Hav no idea. Coz never met such individual and never try the TV chatting thingy. Basically same as friends from the net.

11) Friends you make in the LRT. Don't last. They probably think you're some stalker or some insurance agent or MLM people.

12) Friendster. Just another internet social network service.

13 day - Primary School

Should hav written this earlier..but...I d'know...
Last Saturday, Feb 16, I had this reunion with my ex primary schoolmate. there were 6 of us...Melor, Mai, Manggai, Farah and Caca..They were the same. And I became the same. God I was damn quiet the whole time. not totally mute..just trying to fit in. it was ok for a first time meet. Will be more adjustable later. i think if there's such another later. I just dont understand why I of all people just be out of topic nothing to talk. Speechless. Its just a sudden personility changes from a normal never out of conversation girl to a speechless shy girl.

I found these an abstract on speechlessness.

Speechlessness

Causal Attributions, Emotional Features and Social Consequences Charles R. Berger
University of California, Davis

Individuals recalled the most recent time they found themselves speechless during social interaction. In addition to characterizing a number of attributes of the event, Study 1 participants provided causal attributions for their speechlessness, the emotions they experienced before and after the event and the event’s social consequences. Speechlessness emanated from a variety of sources, including violated expectations, extreme emotional states, and lack of knowledge. Surprise was the primary precursor to speechlessness. Neither communication apprehension nor social anxiety was associated with causal attributions for speechlessness or the event’s duration. Study 2 contrasted speechlessness arising from involuntary and voluntary origins. Participants who attributed their speechlessness to strategic causes reported higher levels of guilt and embarrassment but less overall negative affect than those who attributed their speechlessness to less volitional causes. Speechlessness attributed to violated expectations and extreme emotions potentiated more negative relationship consequences than speechlessness attributed to strategic causes. Findings are discussed in terms of message production models and the social consequences of speechlessness.

Reading the abstract. I made myself a few conclusions that.
Reading from the abstract in the first article, there's this element of surprise and extreme emotional state when meeting long lost friend after some what 10 years. There's social consequences.
So to sort of overcome it, what I have to do next time. just make myself comfortable and don't get to attach on the my past self of being quiet. Just think of it like meeting an old friend and have no expectation other than meeting some old friends. Exchanging stories, eh...
I dont hav NE photos of them. Still w8ing for one of them email me.

12 day - Off and Over the Edge

Upon reading the Maya Karin interview in Off The Edge. it got me interested in the magazine. Bought the magazine by accident. Not really accident just thought that I could buy another magazine coz I already bought all of my must buy magazines. I got to read about Fahmi Reza first then only about Maya Karin. The interview was different from the common interview article. then the magazine became my must buy magazines...waa....another way to waste my money...Then I went to 7eleven to search for the past issue of off the edge magazine yeah i got a hold of 2 past issue..to my disapointment is cost the same...urghh...
My first impression on Off the edge was i thought it was one of The Edge kinda like magazine..all those financial abd business magazine. upon buying them it was different..
THEN..my mother had a point of view that i should have bought ngeo magazine instead of those useless magazines as she said it was. I said it was expensive but actualy its not that rm20 or so its jus rm15 so its worth it for an intellectual magazines. I bought CLEO because its a girl thing. I bought KLue because I need to know the happenings around the city but I didnt really went to all of it. I bought JUNK because of the music but I didnt really listen to the music. B4 this I bought Get A Car coz I want to buy a car magazine that doesnt have a girl posing more than the cars. But then they change their magazine format but not the price. so I stop buying. come on for less than 100 pages for rm10..gotta be kidding.
SO now the list is
1. CLEO - RM 5.60
2. KLue - RM 5
3. JUNK - formerly RM10 now RM6.70
4. NGEO - RM14.90
5. Off the Edge - RM6
will be added to the list is Top Gear Malaysia. RM10
Total of RM48.20 round it up to RM50...is it a waste..it's open for discussion..or it means that people are onto their own opinion.
came upon this article You can be pretty but not smart - A WRITER'S LIFE by Dina Zaman she did compare Maya Karin and Natasha Hudson. and some other writer or what so ever.

11 day - Natasha Liana Hudson

The first blogpost I wrote about this was about her current published books. it was on this site
Celebrity First. I asked about this matter to a few writers coz I cant comment of her writings coz i'm not that expert in that area. but i receive none. that was like almost a year ago. then When i was surfing just now searching under the natasha liana hudson's name. I came out with the blog title of her being a plagiat. then i was like huh???
I know nothing about poetry but it was kinda obvious that her book was kinda an easy way for famous people to make some extra cash. less words and even less picture. ok about the less words probably there's a literature in it i suppose since she plagiat some classic poems i guess. I appreciate litreature whether its english or malay. though i dont know how to judge it. i leave the judging part to the experts. but when I know they plagiat. it was like huh?? U think people wont found out? u think we dont know what internet is? are we malaysian still lives on tree? huh??even the orang asli is now educated, y'know. there are a lot of experts that would actually discover it coz malaysians are not only into science and math they also learn about litreature and stuff. since you're only hav a degree in not litreature or creative writing. the least you could do is sells your plagiat works cheap. people say good poems write by their author but great poems plagiat by other author...yeah original is now overated BUT...direct translation from the original poems are very very low. and telling people its yours. yeah right.
And to the star's AZHARIAH KAMIN who wrote Nice work, Natasha . how you cannot detect that she plagiat you're a writer yourself.
this is the first blogpost on her plagiarism

ok the part where she should leave the country sort of exegerating right. she not that Datuk Siti Nurhaliza or something she's just Datin Natasha Hudson which if we show her pics in the public most ppl will say..this is someone famous right? but not knowing her name..come on Chermin was not that boxoffice. is it? correct me if i'm wrong.
most of the blogger was right. she shouldnt deny it. just admit it and appologise. then the bloggers would hav just stop writing about it. right...hahaha...your misbehaving doesnt really effect the public. you are not some idol that people look up to...no kids had ever say when I grow up I want to be Natasha Hudson right...or probably they will if they're into plagirism...wait a minute most kids did plagiat...copy lab report, copy homework...etc...but not everyone copy poems and make it a book about the poems like their own..

Just about a month there're so many blogposts..
want more just google k.
Anyway I already given awful lots of posts....LOL

Last year just a week after the natasha Hudson's books was launch I went to MPH (not because of the launched of the book though) to check out some magazines. When I went in there's a few books was on display then I came across both of NH books. I didnt flip first. I look at the price. At first I thought this must be some what RM20. Then it was RM30. Whoa..That much for this new writer. I was like whatever. My first impression was she just wanna be like those famous people who wants to try to write. and another whatever. You do what you like. BUT you'll never going to see me buying you books though. Then I flip through less pics and even less words. Then I suppose this is for collectors then. I'm a collector but I'm not the person who collects something that to me is an overated book. I can't comment on the writting coz I dont know what makes a good poem.
Talking about overated. Imagine that book was written by someone famous like...A.Samad Said..(with his work..coz he doesnt plagiat.) I would bought the RM30. (this is before I knew about the plagiarism) because its A. Samad Said. I didnt buy it because its RM30 combine with it was written by someone not that famous and not that familiar in the literature world.
Since the book doesnt hav a review from anywhere. I google about her and her books. No one actually comment about it. Just a few news about her publishing not one but 2 books. I asked a few author to make comments but I received NONE. Probably they didnt like to judge. Coz its ART.
Y'know, if you dont get an A in English you can't write a good poem.
if you dont get an A in Malay Language you cant write a good poem.
I surf her website. (now It says coming soon.) No one review on her books.
Then I look at the experience and her history. She dont hav a degree on writing..if I'm not mistaken it was in fashion or design i think. Not related to writing. so My conclusion during that time was the same as my first impression.
After a few months later but kinda like too late already. I found out that she plagiat. *sigh
All I hav to say was is...EXPECTED. And now the blogger who brought this thing to surface is famous. LOL...whatever...
To jannah, Do y'know the existance of this book before January 2008?
If not, you should hav seen the overated treatment she gets on her book display. FYI the book's still on the shelf in MPH.
p/s-I'm not commenting because of my high knowledge on literature. BUT just as someone who's waiting for some review on NH books.

10 day - KLPAC Open Day

Can't really seem to put the title 10 day only ...coz it will reduce the hi-lite of the title of the event I'm trying to write I think...*sigh...

start the event of the day where I arrive around 11 am..went with my lovely sis. had a drink first then we went inside KLPaC. look at event shcedule. wanna go to all of the workshops and shows and stuff.so we sit down and decide where to go...end of conclusion. we decide..not really we..I decide..that we go and watch documentry and theater workshop. the documetary title ALice Lives Here...its about the government wants to build an incenerator in a farming village in Broga. ANd how the villagers was against it and how Alice leads them into stoping the goverment from building the incenerator.

when an incenerator is going to be built it has to be buit away 50km radius from the people housing or living area. but the government plan to build it only 2km away from their house. they were force to give up their land in order to build the incenerator. the fight started in the late 90's. i didnt know of such issue because not many local newspaper actually show the report about this matter.

then we had our lunch then went to the teather workshop and rehersal of Uncut Untitled Paperhouse – a triple bill written & directed by Teng Ky-Gan, Johann Lim & Mark Beau de Silva

It was fun there's all sorts of activities with the actors and also some audience.

we went back around 4pm. then only I know they close at 5..what?? so short.

got no pics for the event.coz no camera..coz my house was broken into...wa...

I didnt really know how to tell this but it was scary. and still with the what ifs in my mind..*sigh..
